Chip Hackler has worked in the film industry on a wide variety of movies and television series. He teaches in unc-Wilmington's film studies department and has served on the NC governor's film council. Hackler's films include two hours in the dark (about director frank capra), cathederal (based on the short story by raymond carver), and cosmic kiosk (a comedy starring the late nicholas pryor). His films have screened at international film festivals and on unc public television.
